Just think of Swami's made-to-measure wetsuits as Savile Row threads for the surf set. This has Yamamoto Smooth Skin neoprene in the arms, chest, back, and neck, promises to keep you warmer and drier with its sharper fit.

the bespoke surfboard company Swami's has just launched a made-to-measure wetsuit service...

While you can buy a wetsuit off the rack, nothing compares to a made-to-measure suit. A better fit means better waterproofing, increased warmth, and improved range of motion out there in the waves. Their suits are made from ultraspan stretch neoprene, smoothskin across the arms, chest, back, and neck — making them some of the most comfortable suits available. Contact their customer service for a tailor's guide and never wear an ill-fitting wetsuit again.

The (somewhat curiously) London-based bespoke surfboard company Swami’s is the brainchild of surfing enthusiast Giles Dunn and his wife, Ilka. Their passion for surfing and love of art and design has led – over 10 years of independently run operations – to a cult following and collaborations with tastemakers such as Paul Smith (limited-edition board of 50 from £1,200) and Orlebar Brown. Alongside these high-profile partnerships, Swami’s also maintains a commitment to European artisans and working with environmentally sustainable materials.

Some don't make 'em like they used to, but others like Swami's Surf Company still do. These classic-looking custom boards from the British surf shop are a throwback to the sport's golden age.
